-points to self with thumbs- This kid. Haha oh man, The Office...if you guys don't watch that show, you should. Speaking of you guys I have 3 followers now! Yaaaaay, helloooo Marissa, Sarah, and Ashley! Btw Marissa I noticed that I chose a layout that was exactly the same as yours but a different color...sorry about that haha.
Anyways yeah, I'm avoiding this ridiculous essay that's due tomorrow in AP Lit. I didn't even read the book (Heart of Darkness) so I don't really know how I'm going to pull this one off. Don't get me wrong I TRIED to read it. I tried to be reasonable. But HoD wouldn't have it. I probably would have finished this essay 2 days ago if my writing strategy weren't "write one sentence, take a 30 minute break".
So my weekend hasn't really been eventful, although it was a welcome escape from last week, which kinda sucked. I'm starting to realize Junior year isn't nearly as fun as Sophomore. With all the homework, and parents and teachers demanding we decide RIGHT NOW what we're going to do with the rest our lives I might just decide to drop out of school. Not really, but I am feeling pretty pressured.
Ok well it's been 30 minutes, which means it's time to go write another sentence.

I give in.
I'm blogging. It's for real. I probably won't keep it up but after 6 months of reading others blogs, I just decided to give it a try. I probably suck at it already. For instance, HTML has always confused me. I wish Dane were here. That was a FAS reference that was so long ago I'm sure no one got it.
Anyways, I've read enough blogs that I know the general idea of what makes a good one. 1. Drama 2. counting things. Well I'm not really feeling the drama today, so I'll try to think of something to count. Ah, well I'm trying to read 75 new books this year, so I'll go for that. See bottom of page.
On that subject, I am currently reading The Da Vinci Code and next I think I'll read Catcher and the Rye in because I've never read it and everyone is talking about it in lieu of J.D. Salinger's death. Plus a bunch of people I really respect love it (John Green, Hayley G Hoover, Marissa), so I'm looking forward to reading it!
Well that was sufficiently boring and self-indulgent, I think I'll wrap this up and get the much anticipated counting now.

Oh and also I love that Hayley puts a link to nail polish at the end of her blog, it's really gotten me into nail polish. I think I'll just put my own little link in here for uhhh... these boots. I'm not really a shoe girl, but I really want these boots. (the grey)
