Today's title is both true and not true, it is definitely a good day, but the sunshine, not so much. It doesn't matter though, there's sunshine in my mind!
First I would like to take note of the fact that yesterday my awesome friend Sarah turned 17. She blogs too, go congratulate her on being able to see R rated movies and drive after midnight!
My mood has improved greatly in the last day thanks to one email. A music video my friends and I made about a month ago was selected for our local teen filmmaker festival! I'm so incredibly excited about this, it's going to air on our local access channel and everything! I'm fairly certain everyone who reads this has already seen it, but I'm going to put it here anyways :)
My friends, particularly Jori and Rachel, were absolutely amazing in it, and they were all so great during the filming process. It's really hard to go all out in front of a camera without being self-conscious, but they did it beautifully and the result was fantastic. And it's also pretty awesome that they all agreed to do it, and went along with everything instead pointing out how stupid the whole thing seemed at the time.
IN CONCLUSION, I can't believe how lucky I am to have these people as friends =].
So yeah, life is good, and it doesn't hurt that we have a snow day today! I'm off to write all you squirrel rebel's letters now!

I would like to take a moment to swear on a Bible that none of the links in this blog are Hankroll's.
Books read this year: 9
Next I want this shirt from Threadless.

Haha. I clicked on all the links before I saw that. I'm honestly surprised none of them were Hankrolls. I took it in good faith that you wouldn't use your friends as opportunities to Hankroll me.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I've eaten more grilled cheese sandwiches this year than you've read books.
Also, that's a sweet t-shirt.
