I'm Happy Just To Dance With You

I've just now decided that all of my blogs' titles will be the name of a Beatles song. Clever, no? No? sigh...

So yesterday something happened that never has before--I got asked to snowcoming. Which is kind of pathetic that I have literally never been asked out before this but, whatever. Anyways he is a perfectly nice boy, but although we talk on facebook and we're friendly IRL, I don't really know him at all. And so I was really surprised when he asked me.

I don't know why, but my instinct was to say no. My friends and I had been planning kind of a movie night, so that's what I told him, that I already had plans with my friends. But I really regreted it all through math class, and totally missed the lesson thinking about it. Then in Spanish, my friend, who really is amazing, convinced me it would be ok to tell him I changed my mind and go.

So that's what I did! Even though I kind of feel like a jerk now, because he looked kind of upset when I said no and then I was like, oh jk.

But now I have like my first real date, and I have mixed feelings about it. I mean, it's kind of awkward, I don't know what to say to him at school at all. I feel like I should talk to him more now. But what on earth do I say? And to tell the truth I'd almost rather hang out with my friends and watch movies...at least I know what to expect from them.

And now I feel like I'm in 7th grade since I just spent 5 paragraphs disecting that. Sigh.
